As the date of the return of the “American Horror Story” Season 6 nears, more leaks and spoilers arrive about the show just like the rumored official theme.
The Wrap reports that film review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes posted on its official title of the show as “American Horror Story: The Mist.” But this was quickly removed and retained the name of the horror TV series. Despite the different issues about it, the website is tight-lipped about the allege leak.
Of course, everyone is keeping it a secret just like what creator Ryan Murphy wanted. Although there are many teasers, FX president John Landgarf said that most of them will just mislead the fans.
“A lot of them are accurate. The others are all misdirects,” said Landgraf, adding that some of the teasers doesn’t directly point to the theme of the next season.
The teasers for the show includes one that features spiders crawling out of one’s mouth, a scene where someone or something is grabbing the ankle, a monster in the mist and another with creepy doll with chompers. But of all these teasers, only one is real.
But then again, whatever is the theme, all those trailers and teasers does look really creepy.
Aside from Rotten Tomatoes, a Reddit user revealed that even TV Guide also used “American Horror Story: The Mist” while posting the show’s schedule. There is even a trailer bearing said title as well that leaked.
With that, Slash Film revealed that it is possible that the next season will be like The Mist of Stephen King. But many are wondering if it will be like the novel or not.
As of now, nothing is confirmed yet because everyone behind the show is keeping mum about what the next season will really be about. Let us look forward to what will really happen on the “American Horror Story” Season 6 that will return on Sept. 14 on FX.
